Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.Sr. Parts & Services Marketing Consultant for Hydraulic Services Development TeamKey Responsibilities:This position will serve as the expert responsible for the development and execution of World-wide Pump & Motors/ Cylinders & rod growth Strategy to drive profitable parts revenue and Percentage of Parts Sale (POPS) growth targeting multiple Construction Industry customer segments. The role of this assignment is that of an individual contributor who will work very closely with internal partners such as the Sales Execution team, Distribution Serviced Division, multiple Machine Business Divisions (MBDs) and Hydraulic product groups to develop and execute a comprehensive short/mid/long term growth strategy. Assignments/projects are complex and strategic in nature in hydraulic business and the individual must feel comfortable with the dynamic environment and have ability to rise above the noise to see bigger pictures to build a strategic & tactical go-to-market framework.What You Will Do: Analyze company profile and its operations to develop and align the marketing strategies with the organization's goals and objectives. Lead New Services Development (NSD) projects through multiple gateways with effective communication and presentation skills, managing stakeholders and partner expectations and delivering on key NSD requirements. Conduct market/competitive research to identify new opportunities and industry trends. Establish metrics to monitor and review the effectiveness of existing marketing strategies; suggesting necessary interventions for improvement. Maintain effective internal communications in the marketing department to discuss and align the marketing strategy to the changing organizational scenarios.Deliver new products and programs globally or regionally.Gather and provide voice of customer (VOC) and Voice of Dealer (VOD) to the engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, pricing and logistics teams.Develop, Coordinate and Present training materials to various audiences, including dealers.Segment, target and position market opportunities to gain market share.Manage Parts Variance.Replicate pilot solutions globally. Strategic Thinking: Working knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

College degree in Technical/ marketing area or equivalent marketing/product experience.

Previous Cat Field Assignment experience or Cat Dealer experience.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advance level knowledge) and PowerPoint.

Must be a strong team player.

Proficiency in data analysis, marketing tools and ability to relate to real life problems (Knowledge and experience with marketing tool such as Conjoint analysis, 4P strategy are key, with experience in tools such as Tableau/ Power BI and statistical tool such as Minitab/@RISK would be an added asset)

Accomplished in the use of business tools for communicating ideas

Work locations: Peoria, IL; Cary, NC, Dallas, TX

Caterpillar operates in a hybrid environment, requiring 3 days per week of onsite work

Travel is up to 25%
