-Must have strong outbound calling experience and excellent communication skills.-Data Entry skills-Experience working in a Central Fill setting is a big plus!-High School Diploma or equivalent GEDPay- The anticipated wage for this position is between 18.00 and 18.50Hourly wage depends upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.Schedule :Mon-Fri 9:00-6:00 with a 1 hour lunchROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES-Checks all orders for insurance approval.-Send Fax Refill requests and Exceptions Faxes to HCP Offices-Calculates correct dosage volumes, converting between metric and apothecary equivalents-. Responsible for assisting Pharmacists in the safe distribution of medications and the provision of pharmaceutical care.-Enter and process new prescriptions into the pharmacy computer system where permitted by pharmacy regulation, and only at the direction of the supervising pharmacist after their review of the prescription in accordance with The Company policy and procedure.-Process prescription refills to include: refill confirmation when appropriate, review pending refills with the supervising pharmacist, generate refill documentation, and process third-party claims adjudication.-Accurately process all orders in a timely manner.Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
