About this role:The Operation and Support Leader will oversee the team that provides operational control for the Hybrid Environments products, including triaging plan incidents and working task-based environment requests. And will oversee the team that provides daily BAU support for the Hybrid Environments products. This includes managing the teams working task-based support requests and providing assistance to help our customers onboard to Hybrid Environments products. In this role, you will provide education, guidance and thought leadership on emerging technologies and be responsible for a broad set of knowledge across public, private and hybrid cloud architectures. You will have a strong understanding of how technologies enable our business to deliver against objectives.The Operations and Support group under Technology Infrastructure is a critical position to be put in place to stand up and manage support to our line of business (LOB) customers. This role will manage the environments for our products and reduce redundancy in the environments. This role is instrumental in providing timely ticketing support and engineering assistance to our LOBs teams moving towards the Enterprise strategy of cloud adoption.In this role, you will:Focus on team member collaboration and individual skill / career growth

Recruit, empower, and motivate team members who are engaged and get things done

Develop an open culture of experimentation and continuous improvement-without fear of consequences

Understand the managers' role in removing impediments for the team

Ensure that the team is always meeting the customers' needs

Streamline support to a degree that support team members can take on more engineering tasks

Maintain the underlying environments for our products and ensuring that we have both capacity and resiliency within them

Provide clear monitoring into the environments to ensure we can both predict and remediate capacity and issues quickly if/when they occur

Work with our Technology Infrastructure (TI) partners to stand up additional capacity and rotate capacity that requires refreshing

Proactively reduce redundancy in the environments as new technology replaces legacy approaches

Ensure support of Agile Teams

Required Qualifications:8+ years of Technology Strategic Leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

4+ years of Management experience

Desired Qualifications:8+ years of technology Operations & Support experience

Experience managing all technology development efforts of a major line of business

Ability to effectively partner and influence at the senior executive level

Significant experience leading complex technology initiatives in a large and dynamic segment of a financial services organization

Demonstrated vendor negotiation and partnership skills along with experience working with technology offshore vendor relationships

9+ years of executive leadership experience managing a complex technology organization of large scale, including senior managers, managers, individual contributors and vendor resources across multiple global locations

Demonstrated prior experiences in effective engagement with senior executives and external regulators

Ability to effectively drive and lead change in an organization with Wells Fargo's size, scale and complexity

Demonstrated experience in building, leading, developing and retaining a high performing team of leaders, strong technical experts and high performing professionals in a cultural environment that achieves results through team member engagement and satisfaction

Ability to develop technology strategy, operating model & roadmaps with clear objectives and aligned with business, enterprise and technology strategies

Proven experience as a highly effective leader with credibility from demonstrating strong business and technology acumen

Highly effective decision-making/critical thinking/problem solving skills with a collaborative and results-oriented leadership style

Demonstrated ability to consult with key business partners and translate complex, technical concepts so that they are clearly understood along with the ability to effectively partner and influence at the senior executive level

Demonstrated ability to communicate and partner effectively with regulators

Demonstrated experience motivating and influencing groups or individuals across organizational boundaries to gain trust and confidence to make timely decisions

Proven experience in establishing a vision, developing the strategy to support the vision, gaining consensus across key functional leadership through effective communication, and driving action towards the vision through the effective management of goals and objectives

Excellent communication (oral and written) with ability to communicate at multiple levels ranging from technologists to senior managers and executive leadership
