Primary focus will be North American WAN services management and adapting the network to adhere to new global company standards
Provide cloud services network readiness technical leadership, planning, and implementation support
Manage and support complex multi-site Cisco TCP/IP networks, including LAN/WAN, Wireless, and Data Center Services
Own and / or contribute to infrastructure improvement projects
Develop and implement new or updated technologies and processes to ensure streamlined, secure, and scalable systems
Create and maintain current network design, service, and process documentation.
Provide level 3 incident support
Work closely with the global infrastructure architecture and operations center to identify technology and service improvements that may benefit the business
Role Requirements:
University degree or equivalent in related discipline
Minimum of 10 years relevant IT experience within large enterprise organization
Minimum of 5 years Cisco Route & Switch experience is required, CCNP certification preferred
Service provider vendor and order management experience
In-depth experience and knowledge of Enterprise WAN services and the associated technologies
Experience with the deployment of Cisco DMPVN services
Knowledge and experience with SD-WAN and secure cloud connectivity solutions is preferred
Proficient at LAN and WAN troubleshooting is required
Experience with implementing and troubleshooting IP Routing protocols, such as BGP and EIGRP
Knowledge and experience with network monitoring tools and solutions
Possess the ability to articulate and to communicate well in English (verbally and written)
Excellent interpersonal skills required; able to work well in the overall team
Awareness of IT support processes (Incident, Problem, Change and Configuration Management)
Solid understanding of how IT infrastructure components support the business
Pro-active and methodical working style with a positive and ‘can do’ attitude
High analytical and organizational skills
Proven experience in technical analysis, training and documentation
