The HR team strives to champion and advance an extraordinary experience for all associates to thrive and deliver.The Role You’ll PerformThe HR Partner for Policy & Compliance will play a critical role within our HR organization. You will be part of the HR Operations team and partner with team members around the globe. While primarily focused on US compliance, you will also establish standardization and governance for related HR policy & compliance globally.You will partner closely with various functions within the HR organization as well as with our Employment Labor, Legal and Compliance teams to create a streamlined approach and response to identified compliance and regulatory programs. Being able to apply a continuous improvement mindset to your everyday activities will be paramount for us to achieve sustainable success.Experience, Skills, and Abilities That You’ll Need

5+ years HR compliance, employment law, employee relations or related functional expertise

Ability to effectively communicate complex compliance information to a wide variety of stakeholders

Acts with sense of urgency, bias for action, and desire to thrive in a dynamically growing environment

High-quality judgment and problem solver with sound decision-making

Strong project & time management skills with ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects to closure

Ability to comprehend, interpret and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws and regulations

Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail

Deep knowledge of standard HR policy & compliance such as I-9/E-verify compliance, pre-employment screening and adjudication, compliance postings, reporting analytics, unemployment insurance, training, and third-party vendor management

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline

Preferred experience and/or skills:

Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma or other lean methodology project experience

Experience in other areas of HR such as recruiting, employee relations, Business Partner, or HR Systems

Experience with HR ticketing systems

HR certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead, develop, and implement HR compliance programs, processes, and initiatives

Develop the framework for tracking compliance programs, and maintain internal controls and policies designed to ensure organizational compliance needs are met

Provide guidance and support to various HR Partners on compliance or employment related matters

Conduct ongoing assessments and periodic audits of HR processes, practices, and policies; and develop remediation plans as necessary

Collaborate with Legal & Compliance teams to ensure programs align with the overall Flowserve compliance framework (such as governance, policy, record retention, testing/monitoring, certifications)

Conduct regulatory horizon scanning on a continuous basis to identify changes in US federal, state, provincial and local regulations and employment laws that affect the company

Manage required US Federal and State reporting requirements (EEO, OFCCP, VETS, etc.)

Support other HR Operations team initiatives such as Training, Quality, Governance and Continuous Improvement
