The Cobrand Acquisition Strategy, Performance & Analytics lead is responsible for driving business management and performance analytics, as well as supporting channel strategy and project work for the Cobrand Acquisition Team. This is a key role that works in close partnership with both external and internal partners, including Product, Acquisition Channel Management, Analytics, Risk Management and Finance teams in order to ensure efficient operation of the Cobrand acquisition strategy. The BMO lead will drive strategic change and innovation in the Cards Acquisitions business from a holistic Omni-channel perspective, through the evaluation of performance drivers to transform insights into recommendations.This will involve maintaining a strategic playbook, keeping up to date on key initiatives, and adding a project management rigor to these initiatives that would involve tracking deliverables across multiple teams. Additionally, the candidate will also be asked to lead, coordinate, and deploy strategic initiatives that enhance marketing opportunities and capabilities across products and digital channels.Lastly, the role will have the opportunity to engage in special projects geared towards new channels, and capabilities to drive future growth to meet partner commitments.Responsibilities:
Analyze performance KPIs utilizing various analytical tools and techniques. Translate data into insights, identifying areas of opportunity for enhancements and make data-driven recommendations
Develop, maintain acquisition dashboard, and report out ongoing performance to help inform business decisions to drive account acquisition strategy. This will include working with channel managers to understand their current methods for reporting performance and developing new ways to use the data
Responsible for weekly performance updates, identifying risks and opportunities to plan, and drive necessary dialogue to close any gaps
Track and evaluate acquisition key financial metrics to manage Cobrand Acquisition marketing investment (Marketing Expenses, Acquisition Bonus Incentive, etc.). Identify investment opportunities and align spending to improving financial performance
Build and maintain monthly walk forward views to capture strategy changes and progress to plan
Log Opportunities & Risk. Work across marketing and cross-functional analytics teams and to size accounts, returns, marketing, incentive and bounty expenses
Prepare presentations for senior management and partner business reviews. Requires knowledge of channels and products within acquisitions and the ability to interpret information from all cross-functional areas. Identify issues and provide recommendations
Evaluate program performance to drive future strategies, optimize existing channel performance and identify opportunities for improved efficiency, effectiveness and enhanced customer experience
Apply critical thinking and communication skills to address stakeholder questions, identify bottlenecks and streamline existing processes
Develop and maintain test and learn plan and learning agenda. Partner with Acquisition Channel Management teams to capture holistic test plan and results and share with broader cross-functional teams
Partner with acquisition competitive insights team to compile, interpret and analyze competitive information, in order to drive strategy decisions
Ad hoc project lead management and support
Qualifications:
6 -10 years of experience in Financial Services (Credit Card industry preferred) and program management
Excellent analytical, project and process management skills with proven ability to translate large volumes of data and generate meaningful insights
Solid organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at one time
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
Proficiency in Adobe Analytics and Tableau
Broad knowledge of P&Ls, analytics, marketing and storytelling with data
Demonstrated thought leadership and strategic agility. Ability to work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
Demonstrated success in managing internal and external partnerships and ability to negotiate complex structures
Creative problem solving and sense of ownership
