    Responsibilities

    The Company

    7Drive is 7-Eleven's delivery division and we're on a mission to bring on-demand delivery to cities and towns throughout the United States.

    The Opportunity

    As a Data Analyst you will be responsible for designing and building our analytics environment. You will take responsibility for managing our master data set, developing reports, and troubleshooting data issues.

    Responsibilities

    • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
    • Present analysis results, methods, and findings to internal and external stakeholders, verbally and in written form effectively
    • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
    • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
    • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
    • Filter and clean data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
    • Support initiatives for data integrity and normalization
    • Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports
    • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
    • Training end users on new reports and dashboards
    • Providing technical expertise on data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing
    • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

    Qualifications

    You Bring

    • 3-5 years of experience as Data Analyst
    • Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
    • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
    • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Power BI), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks) are required
    • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
    • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
    • Experience with using programming languages (Python/R) to automate ETL processes preferred
    • BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
