General Description:Serves as a vital member of the Veterans Employment Services team. Provide quality control and quality assurance on various reports too include, but not limited to American Job Center Reports, Employment Plans, Case notes, Quality Review Forms etc. Provide administrative oversight of staff located in the American Job Centers, or areas where staff are assigned under the Jobs for Veterans State Grant. Exercise supervision of staff assigned under Direct Reports and coordinates with District Manager on disciplinary actions. Monitor and control the Employer Awards program to include but not limited to, TVC Employer Awards, American Legion Employer Awards, DAV Employer Awards. Coordinate with District Coaches on performance issues that may require additional training for staff. /To promote a strong environment, TVC maintains a telecommuting policy. The policy is decided by division and contingent on continued performance.// // /Essential Duties and Responsibilities://· Oversees the administrative functions of staff in the district.· Reviews and analyzes reports for accuracy, and timely submission to headquarters.· Notifies and coordinates with District Manager on disciplinary and performance issues.· Confers with District Coaches to evaluate, develop, and implement necessary training for staff within the district.· Provides administrative oversight of staff assigned through the Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System (CAPPS) to include approving leave requests and monthly timesheets, performance document, and other administrative matters.· Coordinates with District Manager to evaluate the effectiveness of services provided to veterans within the district.· Assists in the development of the District Operational Plan.· Coordinates with staff at all levels on the development of policies, procedures, and processes.· Provides functional and administrative oversight in the absence of the District Manager.· Ensures adherence to state and federal guidelines.· Monitors and assigns work to staff.· Work hours of other than 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. may be assigned.· Can perform other duties as assigned.Military Crosswalk information:https://hr.sao.texas.gov/Compensation/MilitaryCrosswalk/MOSCProgramManagement.pdfMinimum Education:Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university with major course work in social work/social sciences or related field. · Three years of supervisory experience does not have to be TVC supervisory experience.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:· Knowledge of English language sufficient to compose correspondence, summarize information and write case narratives.· Knowledge of Jobs for Veterans State Grant functions and responsibilities.· Knowledge of case management principles, standards and methods.· Knowledge of DOL-VETS and LBB performance measures.· Knowledge of functions and services provided in the American Job Centers.· Skills in providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.· Skills in the operation of computers and in applicable computer software.· Ability to review and edit federal reports.· Ability to organize work schedules and utilize CAPPS.· Ability to consistently present a professional image to customers, the public, and co-workers.Environmental & Physical Conditions:

Normal office work environment, mostly sedentary in nature. May involve walking; standing; remaining stationary for long periods of time; pulling and pushing; kneeling, stooping, and bending; and safely lifting and carrying items weighing up to 30 pounds. Work involves extensive telephone usage and repetitive hand/wrist/finger motions while using the computer.Notes to Applicants:
