Driver for a Non-Emergency Medical Van. The driver will be working a contractor with Texas Mobile MD for our client Huntsville Memorial Hospital. But also may be expected to travel to the office in Houston on Fridays as needed.
We need a driver with a good amount of experience and a strong work ethic. You will be paid regardless if you are driving all day, or if the hospital has no trips to take. Patients must be treated with respect and be delivered safely.
Driver must be able to monitor and adapt to changing road conditions.
Driver must be able to maneuver and navigate the road with a calm and rational attitude. As well maintain a cordial and friendly disposition towards clients.
Driver must be able to push 200lb + clients up inclines and ramps. Drivers are often responsible for delivering patients to the doctor if they do not have an assistant available.
Needs to have a firm understanding of how to use GPS as a tool to navigate the city in a reasonable time.
Driver must be able to manage time in order to retrieve patients in a timely manner and be on route when another trip is available.
Drivers must be available or on call between 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM - Flexibility is a must
Drivers are responsible for keeping their vehicles clean and maintained. (At the companies expense)

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
