American Western Steel is currently seeking an experienced Welder Fitter to join our team at American Western Steel.
The welder fitter will be responsible for assembling and welding parts for pre-engineered metal building columns and rafters.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the metal building fabrication industry and shall have strong attention to detail, good problem-solving skills and the ability to work as a team.
Skills -
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications for work
Measure and layout components using welding techniques ( MIG, TIG and stick)
Qualifications
Proven experience as a welder fitter
Certified welding certification
Proficiency in reading blueprints
Knowledge of welding techniques
