Position: General Service Technician / State Inspector
Location: Houston, Texas
Pay Range: $13–$18/hour (based on experience and skill level)
What You’ll Be Doing
Conducting state inspections on vehicles to ensure compliance with Texas regulations.
Performing basic maintenance services such as oil changes, fluid checks, and tire services.
Picking up parts and supplies as needed to support shop operations.
Driving customers when necessary, ensuring a professional and friendly experience.
Performing vehicle inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
Assisting senior technicians with repairs and diagnostics to gain hands-on experience.
Maintaining accurate records, clean workspaces, and professional service standards.
What We’re Looking For
Experience in general automotive service, inspections, or related work (preferred, but not required).
Familiarity with state inspection requirements (training/certification provided if needed).
A mechanical mindset with eagerness to learn and grow in the trade.
Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
Reliability, attention to detail, and teamwork.
Most importantly: ambition and long-term goals of becoming a certified automotive technician.
