A-Z Truck and Trailer Repair is is hiring Mobile Diesel Mechanics or Trailer Mechanics to perform day to day roadcalls or preventive maintenance. This job is 100% on the field.
Minimum Requirements:
-A minimum of 5 years of experience in Semi-Tractor maintenance and repair, or equivalent training and experience.
-Possession of the necessary tools to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
-Proficiency in customer relations and effective communication.
-Readiness to work outdoors, in varying weather conditions, and potentially during nights or weekends if required.
-Need to be a DOT inspector

Job Duties:
Perform quality inspections of diesel trucks to identify necessary and recommended repairs
Diagnose, adjust, and repair, and heavy trucks including: electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning and transmission
Perform routine maintenance on trucks
Manage the status of truck repair orders and provide clear communication throughout the process with service team
Requirements
At least 5 year of Truck and Trailer Mechanic experience is required
Valid driver license required
Basic computer skills
Electrical experience
Must have own tools. Service Truck will only carry basic tools
