A valve shop is looking for a Lathe Machinist and Manual Mill Machinist. You’ll be making parts for production and repair. CNC machines are Fanuc control.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Be able to interpret blueprints, drawings, or sketches to set up the machine for operation.
Understanding how to operate the machine, configure proper settings, and load proper tooling per job.
Machine product to specification, and be able to use appropriate precision measuring equipment to check product dimensions to ensure they are within tolerance.
REQUIREMENTS:
A minimum of 5 years of machining experience.
Setup experience on these machines.
Shop is Unairconditioned.
Be proficient with Calipers and Micrometers. Experience with depth gauges and other QC-related instruments is a plus.
Have experience working with a variety of metals.
Be punctual, reliable, and have a strong attention to detail.
