Job Description:
We seek a dedicated and hardworking Labor Worker to join our landscaping and construction landscape installation team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment. This role involves a variety of tasks, including installing plants, laying sod, constructing landscape features, and performing general landscape maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the installation of landscaping projects, including planting, mulching, and sod laying.
Help construct landscape features such as walkways, patios, retaining walls, and garden beds.
Operate hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner.
Load and unload materials, ensuring all tools and supplies are accounted for.
Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors to ensure quality and timely completion.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the job site.
Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Provide excellent customer service and professionally represent Texas Garden Materials.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in landscaping, construction, or a related field is preferred.
Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects, digging, and working in various weather conditions.
Basic knowledge of landscape materials and tools.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
High school diploma or equivalent.
