Independent Commercial Carpenter Needed - $30-$40/hour!
Area: Houston and surrounding areas. Travel available for those interested.
Work: As Needed Basis - Year-Round
We're seeking a skilled and detail-oriented independent commercial carpenter to join our network! We offer year-round work on an as-needed basis in the Houston area and surrounding locations. Travel opportunities are available for qualified carpenters interested in expanding their reach.
Responsibilities:
Independently perform all aspects of commercial finish carpentry, from layout and installation to final touch-ups.
Installing new cabinets, wood trim, and fixtures
Installing metal and wood doors
Bathroom accessories and partitions
Unload and organize materials efficiently, maintaining a clean worksite.
Install standards and blocking, ensuring accuracy and adherence to blueprints and specifications (including in-wall wood blocking).
Install FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) and in-wall blocking in back-of-house (BOH) areas.
Secure furniture to concrete floors with precision and skill.
Maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude on all projects.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial finish carpentry.
Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently.
Strong knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and techniques (must own your tools).
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
Punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious.
Must have reliable transportation for travel to and from worksites.
Pay: $30-$40 per hour depending on experience.
