Position Overview: We are seeking a talented Electrical CAD Drafter to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in recreating existing drawings to meet customer specifications. This position requires the ability to read blueprints, follow instructions meticulously, and ensure accuracy in electrical designs.
Responsibilities:
Interpret customer requirements and translate them into detailed electrical drawings.
Use AutoCAD and Engineering Base software to create and modify electrical schematics and panel layouts.
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet technical specifications and safety standards.
Review and analyze electrical blueprints for errors or inconsistencies.
Maintain organized documentation and files for each project.
Communicate effectively with team members and clients to address any design-related queries or concerns.
Requirements:
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Engineering Base software (or similar).
Experience working with electrical drawings and blueprints.
Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into accurate designs.
Previous experience in a panel shop or similar environment preferred.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to identify errors on electrical drawings and propose solutions.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Understand the metric system
