Job Description:
As a Duct Installer, you will be responsible for the installation of ductwork for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) in a commercial settings. You will work closely with our HVAC technicians and project managers to ensure installations are completed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
-Install ductwork systems according to specifications and building codes.
-Measure, cut, and assemble ductwork using hand and power tools.
-Install and secure HVAC equipment, including vents, fans, and registers.
-Inspect and test systems for proper operation.
-Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
-Adhere to company policies and safety standards.
Qualifications:
-OSHA 10 THIS IS A MUST-HAVE, MUST BE CURRENT, AND HAVE PROOF.
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-Proven experience as a Duct Installer or similar role in the HVAC industry.
-Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical diagrams.
-Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and ductwork installation techniques.
-Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
-Have a full set of trade tools.
-Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy objects.
