We are searching for Spanish speaking men age 21+ who have been charged in the state of Texas for a DUI or DWI. IF BOOKED TO BE A PART OF THIS PSA, YOU WILL BE COMPENSATED IN THE AMOUNT OF $2500 FOR BEING A PART OF THE SHOOT. Shoot dates will be sometime in February in the Austin area and anyone traveling from outside of Austin will receive a $250 travel stipend.
Shoot dates: early/mid February
Shoot location: Austin area (travel stipend offered for anyone not local to Austin)
Payment: if you are booked for the shoot, you will received $2500
Some additional info below about qualifications and what we are looking for:
-Your DUI or DWI offense MUST HAVE OCCURRED IN TEXAS.
-We will run background checks on all testimonial subjects that are contenders. NO candidates/stories can be considered if their legal case has not been resolved. We cannot use persons with violent offenses or sex crime record.
-21-45 yrs
Offender (got arrested for DWI or DUI)
Must be willing to discuss the following on camera for a TX based PSA:
-Effects on family and friends: loss, grief, disappointment, financial strains, child custody issues, etc.
-They could have hurt/kill themselves or others.
-Consequences may include some or all: DWI can be $17,000 (or more or less) in fines and fees, jail time, and the loss of a driver’s license. It could also require installing an interlock ignition device in their car.
-Negative career impact
