We’re looking for people with the same drive; to combine teamwork with technology to produce amazing results.This role is responsible for work-related Desktop/System Support and Service Desk functions to ensure efficient and reliable operation. This role will be responsible for identifying, administrating, triaging, and resolving a variety of incidents and service requests. Responsible for resolving trouble tickets of client service requests, incidents, and events within the established service level agreements, (SLAs).Essential Duties/Functions- Maintains desktops, laptops, MS surface, iPad, printers, scanners, and other information technology systems (Local and Remote) as required to ensure efficiency and reliability- Monitors incoming Cherwell tickets and provides technical support to users via phone, in person and by email - Upgrades and installs new computers and repair / reimage existing computers on the customer’s domain - Assists with IT projects - Follows inventory protocols for tracking of all equipment- Physically relocates equipment as necessary- Creates accounts for various applications- Troubleshoots and diagnoses hardware and software issues- Participates in disaster recovery testing- Assists in research of new technology- Ability to select and provide appropriate information to others- Remains available around the clock as the first line of defense in addressing IT issues- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others- Assists as needed in the setup of all software installations- Administers and supports account setup for VPN connection for all remote users- Plans, organizes, and coordinates work assignments for contractors- Assists in the development and review of training materials and details design documentation- Other duties as assignedEssential Duties/Functions :- Maintains desktops, laptops, MS surface, iPad, printers, scanners, and other information technology systems (Local and Remote) as required to ensure efficiency and reliability- Monitors incoming Cherwell tickets and provides technical support to users via phone, in person and by email - Upgrades and installs new computers and repair / reimage existing computers on the customer’s domain - Assists with IT projects - Follows inventory protocols for tracking of all equipment- Physically relocates equipment as necessary- Creates accounts for various applications- Troubleshoots and diagnoses hardware and software issues- Participates in disaster recovery testing- Assists in research of new technology- Ability to select and provide appropriate information to others- Remains available around the clock as the first line of defense in addressing IT issues- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others- Assists as needed in the setup of all software installations- Administers and supports account setup for VPN connection for all remote users- Plans, organizes, and coordinates work assignments for contractors- Assists in the development and review of training materials and details design documentation- Other duties as assignedQualifications :Education- Associates Degree, required, with a focus in a computer related field, preferredExperience- Two (2) or more years of professional experience within the Microsoft operating system environment and suite of products, and web/networked computing environments, required (Windows Server and Desktop, MS Exchange, Active Directory, etc.)- Advanced knowledge of research techniques and application’s configurations, preferred- Experience managing and updating IP address in SolarWinds, preferred- Knowledge of PC related software including but not limited to various operating systems, preferred- Ability to troubleshoot and repair various hardware components including but not limited to servers and computers, preferredSoftware- KIOWARE, preferred - Cisco switches, Cisco CUIC, NICE, CM, or Finesse, preferred- LanSweeper data extraction and deploying monthly MS updates, preferred- SCCM (creating packages, and OS provisioning) , preferred- Acronis imaging software, preferred- Application Extender, preferred- Cherwell ticketing system, preferredLicensure/Certifications - Any IT-related certifications, preferredOther Knowledge, Skills & Abilities- Exposure to help desk processes and procedures with experience with service desk management tools- Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments for contractors, preferred- Good written and verbal communication skills - Ability to select and provide appropriate information to others.- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.- High degree of professionalism, attentiveness, and communication excellence (both verbal and written)- Ability to diplomatically interact and communicate with all levels of an organization- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to remain calm under pressure - Ability to work independently and within a team environment- Good communication skills on the phone and in person
