I am fully independent and I have all the good Indy carriers for personal lines auto and most for Homeowner's. I have access to most commercial carriers as well if you're good at that, I am not bad. Your friends, family, and future clients will always get a great deal.
Geico, Progressive, Clearcover, NatGen, Gainsco, Dairyland. Over a dozen carriers for personal auto but I write in mostly 6 companies.
I will pay 100% New Business agency commission or 80/20 New Business with a 20/80 on renewal if you service. I do not supply leads however you will close auto on price to almost any lead you supply. I and my one other agent close at over 90% on personal auto. So you need to be a talker aka skilled networker. If you are you will love working with us!
I will supply a desk phone with your own number(also will ring your cell), rating software(PL Rater) for auto(Home and Commercial soon), a CRM tool(AgencyZoom), Access to the drivers license database(DCS), Help quoting or whatever you need via teams with me most of the time Monday through Friday, CE classes when you need it, etc.If you need something ask. I want you to write as much as you want to write. I do have an actual location(Kingwood) as well but this is fully remote position. No desk or agency fees or any of that nonsense. You will get paid twice a month all policies that have been paid. All agency commission reports will be accessible to you.
You will sign a 2 year after termination non-solicit, you will sell at least 5 quality policies a month, No bad business, you get chargebacks if you are still employed at time of cancelation, etc. You will need a laptop, internet, standard office supplies. You will agree to all rules , regulations, ethics, etc of the agency. You will be paid 100% commission but you will be a w-2 employee. No benefits. You will have no ownership in business.
Here's the catch. I want you to work for me and learn that hustle and do so good you go open your own place and be successful there. You come put some money in my pockets at renewal and in my book and I will teach you how to do the same. I do not care how many hours you work or where as long as you write my minimum of five good quality policies a month. It costs me money on the front to have you writing for me. E&O to cover you, phones, my time, etc. however if you are going to be a good insurance agent and you are willing to starve or go get those customers you will have a huge opportunity herelooking for future entrepreneurs. I do not expect anyone to work for me forever and will encourage you to have the spirit of an entrepreneur. Work an hour, work 40 hours. I do not care. You do nothing and you will make nothing. You work and you will close deals.
My time is very important however if you are really the right type of agent I will help you do everything you need to do to make a sell. I will be available to you and I do know what I am doing.
