Putzmeister America, Inc., a global leader in concrete equipment manufacturing, is seeking a mechanically experienced individual to join their as a Sales Representative in the Houston, TX market.

If you have at least 1 year of experience of heavy equipment/construction equipment operation, experience working on industrial or construction job sites, and the ability to travel at least 50%, Putzmeister wants to hear from you! Mortar, shotcrete or concrete pump machine operation experience is a big plus, not but required. Opportunity to travel! With at least 50% travel, you will enjoy travelling and interacting with our customers at their sites and working with your team of techs.

Minimum qualifications:

At least 1 year of heavy equipment operation/mechanical experience.

Experience working on industrial job sites.

The ability to travel at least 50%.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Mortar, shotcrete or concrete pump machine operation experience is a big plus but not required.

Experience in a Sales role is a plus but not required.

Spanish speaking is a plus but not required.

Essential duties/responsibilities:

Hands-on training and demoing of machines

Main focus is S-5, SP-11 and SP-25 machines and fireproofing & mortar markets

Identify potential clients in the construction sector.

Prepare and deliver engaging presentations and product demonstrations to clients.

Highlight the benefits and features of shotcrete and mortar machines.

Address customer inquiries and provide solutions to their needs.

Collaborate with management to develop sales strategies and targets.

Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Provide technical assistance and training to clients on machine operation and maintenance.

Prepare and present sales proposals and quotes and close sales effectively.

Gather and report feedback from clients to improve product offerings.

Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.

Attend trade shows and industry events to network and promote products.

Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.

Provide regular sales reports to management.

Stay updated on new technologies and advancements in shotcrete and mortar machines.

Participate in training and professional development opportunities.

Additional tasks as assigned.
