We’re looking for a vigilant, reliable, and detail-oriented Loss Prevention Associate to join our team and help us prevent theft and ensure compliance with store policies.
Responsibilities
Monitor store premises/perimeter (unarmed) and activity through floor patrols.
Maintain a visible presence on throughout property to deter theft.
Warn violators about rules/regulations in the store, for example; dogs, unauthorized parking
Identify suspicious behavior and take appropriate action according to company protocols.
Document attempted theft, fraud, or policy violations.
Communicate constantly with store management and emergency personnel, law enforcement when necessary.
Qualifications
Prior experience in retail loss prevention, security, or law enforcement preferred.
Strong observational and communication skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful or confrontational situations. Empathize with others, overcome challenges, and defuse conflict.
Basic report writing and computer skills.
Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods and work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Knowledge of local laws is a plus.
Bilingual, Spanish/English a plus!
