We are hiring a professional security officer for a shopping center to perform vehicle and foot patrol, and assist clients and staff as needed. You must have a decent, working vehicle. The schedule is 10AM - 8:30PM at a shopping center located near Highway 6 (77083).
The role is 38 hours per week, 9.5 hours per shift, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. $15.00 per hour and $2.00 per hour for using your vehicle (gas an mileage reimbursement). $17.00 per hour.
There is a second position at this site, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 28.5 hours per week, $1.00 additional for working the weekend. $16.00 per hour, plus $2.00 for using your vehicle (gas and mileage reimbursement). $18.00 per hour.
10:00 am to 12:00 pm (2 working hours)
12:00 pm to 01:00 pm (1 hour Lunch Time unpaid)
01:00 pm to 08:30 pm (7.5 working hours)
Must have duty belt, weapon, COMMISSIONED security license, decent vehicle in good working condition, and a smart phone with space to download apps.

Responsibilities:
- Perform access controls at gates.
- Foot patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a presence.
- Vehicle patrol with your own vehicle.
- Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people on the property.
- Secure all exits, doors, and windows after the end of operations.
- Provide assistance to people in need.
- Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences.
Requirements:
- Level III Commssioned Texas Security Certification is required or registered as a Security Guard in Texas DPS
- Previous experience in Security preferred
- Strong customer service
- Tech-savvy with experience in electronic report writing.
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills
- Must have reliable transportation and a working smart phone.
