Master Drilling USA, LLC seeks an IT Head of Department in League City, TX.
Responsibilities: The IT Head of Department is responsible for overseeing the implementation and maintenance of Master Drilling’s IT systems and processes. Duties include: Conducting system administration, monitoring, and management of system resources, job device, and users; performing maintenance operations to optimize system performance; Ensuring all IT systems are reporting appropriate data; Running required data reports within Master Drilling’s specifications to ensure machine functions to standard; Ensuring appropriate data is captured for management field reports; Ensuring IT systems reporting requirements align with the key performance indicators (KPIs) of specific projects; Devising and establishing IT policies and systems to support the implementation of Master Drilling’s technical and data needs; Coordinating with international headquarters on expectations and needs for reporting, accessibility, data security; Ensuring all regional policies meet corporate standards and local needs; maintaining proper protocols and security for IT systems; Identifying system usage and adding in additional capacity as needed; and other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Logistics, or related field (or foreign equivalent).
Requirements: 2 years of experience in the job offered or related. Other special requirements include: 2 years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar Enterprise Resource Planning software solutions; 2 years of experience working with Microsoft Power BI or similar business intelligence tools; 2 years of experience conducting system administration and maintenance operations for Finances, Operations, Logistics, Engineering, and Human Resources departments; and 2 years of experience establishing internal IT policies.
