Growing family owned company seeking a self-motivated, friendly, and persuasive purchaser to join our growing team. In this position, you will play a critical role in the success of our business by using existing and developing new purchasing strategies, working with new and existing suppliers, and buying products and supplies.
Compensation: $16- $18/hr DOE with opportunity to grow

Hours: M-F 9 - 6pm, 1 hr lunch, 2 - 10 min breaks, paid holidays, health insurance, free Friday lunch
Job Purpose: Perform company purchasing of electronic parts in the Casino Gaming industry, specifically Slot Machine parts.
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Utilize existing and develop new purchasing strategies and identify buying trends to keep the business profitable
Conduct self-guided research to become familiar with what products are available as well as their costs and benefits
Search available products to find the best combination of quality, price, and delivery
Report damaged or defective goods and work out an alternative solution with the supplier
Keep detailed records and prepare and submit necessary reports
Maintain professional relationships with all key suppliers
Generating Purchase Orders using QuickBooks and emailing them to vendors
Contacting existing and new vendors via email, phone, text and whatapp for parts availability and pricing
Qualifications include the following:
Knowledge of common electronic and technical products
Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills
Analytical and mathematical capabilities to compare prices and quantities and consider vendor contract terms
Ability to evaluate market conditions and various suppliers
Keen eye for detail
Willingness to make quick and thoughtful decisions on behalf of the business
Effective relationship building skills
Degree in business, accounting, supply chain management, or a related field a plus
1 years of experience in a purchasing role a plus
1 years experience using QuickBooks
High School Graduate - College degree a plus
Proficient with Quickbooks
Organizational Skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize projects
Dependable, trustworthy, and possess work ethics
Reliable Transportation / Valid Driver's License
Must pass a drug and background check
Technical experience a plus
Bi-lingual a plus
