Job Title: Office Assistant/File Clerk
Location: G. Mesa Law Firm. 3734 Gulf St Houston, TX 77017
Job Type: Full-time (Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) (Closed on the Weekends)
About Us:
We are a busy law firm dedicated to providing exceptional service to our clients. We are currently seeking a reliable and energetic Office Assistant/File Clerk to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Organize and maintain the file room
File documents away into designated files
Retrieve files for incoming correspondence
Make copies for staff, ranging from a few copies to multiple documents
Locate files for staff throughout the day
Prepare files for scheduled appointments
Provide backup support for phones for one hour each day
Input data for files being closed or shredded
Requirements:
Energetic and enthusiastic attitude
Willingness to always help others and work collaboratively
Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment
Dependable transportation to ensure punctuality and reliability
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus (most clientele is Spanish-speaking), but not required
Ability to lift heavy objects and move large stacks of files between floors
No experience is necessary, but preferred
