A/C and Heating Company in Pearland is seeking a skilled Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper for a full-time position. Qualified candidate must be able to work independently and have experience with MS Office, Excel, Power Point and QuickBooks. Candidate must be motivated, reliable person with strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
Create Invoice and Quote
Answer phones and communicate with customers directly and indirectly
Maintain accurate data entry and neat record keeping
Filing/Data Entry
Accurately file paper and/or electronic billing documents
Ensure proper paperwork is distributed to employee’s documents
Accurately enter any pertinent billing and payable information into QuickBooks
Correct & follow up on any discrepancies or errors in database
Stay on top of daily, weekly and monthly items to be entered
Prepare sales tax returns
Process and track all vendor and customer information
Requirements:
Experience with QuickBooks
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products
Excellent communication and organization skills
Sharp eye for accuracy and personal accountability
Pleasant demeanor on the phone and in person both in calm and in stressful environments
Self-starter, dependability, punctuality, and strong work ethic
Excellent grammar, spelling and attention to detail
High school diploma or equivalent
