Job Type: Full-Time (8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Mon-Fri)

Salary: $18-$20 per hour DOE

Benefits:

401K after 6 months with company match up to 3%

Holiday and vacation pay after 6 months

About Us: Join our growing demolition and construction company, where we pride ourselves on delivering excellence in every project. We are seeking a dedicated and driven Administrative Assistant/Accounting Clerk to support our team and contribute to our success.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage phone calls and communications effectively.

Daily tasks include copying, scanning, uploading documents, and properly naming files.

Utilize intermediate skills in QuickBooks Online.

Accurately enter and code daily invoices.

Collaborate with superintendents and project managers to obtain pricing for materials

and equipment.

Monitor material costs to ensure compliance with budget limits.

Assist in preparing monthly billings and compliance documents for City of Houston and

Section 3 projects, including certified payroll.

Work closely with office manager, project managers, owners, general contractors, and vendors.

Requirements:

Over 3 years of experience in office administration

More than 1 year of experience with QuickBooks Online

Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Exceptional multitasking and organizational abilities with a sharp attention to detail

Capable of working under pressure with minimal supervision

Strong problem-solving skills and a positive, can-do attitude

Familiarity with Procore software, LCP Tracking, GC Pay, and Textura is a plus

Experience in the construction industry and bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are advantageous

A willingness to learn and adapt, along with a proactive attitude, will contribute to your success in this role.
