Aerotek is hiring an experienced Electrical Assembler to start right away
The Electrical Assembler is responsible for assembling electrical systems and components in accordance with engineering schematics and specifications. You will be required to assemble the electrical components and control devices to heavy subassembly units based off the electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams. Wiring of circuits, outlets, and switches. Calibrating of parts and mechanisms to meet the tolerance of the product. They will provide the basic tools (drills, impacts and grinders) but you will be required to know how to operate those tools day 1. At times you may be working alone and other times with a group of other assemblers. Operate material handling devices and lifts including pallet jacks, scissor lifts, mobile floor cranes, etc.
Fits, tests, and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.

Shift Time: 1st shift: 6AM -2:30PM M-Fri
End times could be anywhere between 2-6 pm
Lots of OT
Working 6 10s until end of Q1 potentially (6:00am-4:30pm)
Some night shifts - 10% night differential
Requirements
4+ years of INDUSTRIAL electrical experience
Wiring, Conduit bending, Running cable tray, working in manufacturing setting
Reading electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams
Operation of drills, impacts, grinders
Material handling devices operation

Pay: $23-$28/hr
Pay Scale depending on experience
Work Environment
Production environment with exposure to loud noise, moving machinery and other hazards.
