We are looking for an experienced sign installer to add to our growing team!
LEAD SIGN INSTALLER
Sign installer MUST have installation experience -
Installing/Servicing:
Pole Signs
Channel letter Signs
Multi tenant Pylon Signs
LED Message Centers
Wall/Cabinet Signs
Vinyl/Window Graphics
Indoor/Interior Signs
Sign Installer must also have experience moving and operating Bucket Trucks/Cranes
Required Skills:
Stick Welding
Electrical Troubleshooting
Able to Lift 70lbs unassisted
Able to Stand and work while standing for extended periods of time
Must be able to work in Heat/Outdoors
Candidates Must have:
Active Drivers License
Clean Driving Record
Reliable Transportation
NO Drug use allowed
Own installation tools
Preferred not required:
CDL
bilingual (spanish is a plus)
General Job Description:
Lead installer must coordinate and prepare all necessary tools, equipment, and materials to conduct a successful sign installation.
You must maintain your assigned bucket truck i.e. tool maintenance, cleanliness, organization
Lead installer will take permit drawings and coordinate a successful installation with project manager
Lead installer must represent company on job site with great conduct and professional behavior.
Lead Installer must be punctual and responsible with deadline schedules.
Day to Day Job Description:
Take shop/permit drawings each morning, go over installation method with project manager.
Load Assigned truck with necessary tools and equipment for successful installation.
Must Drive company truck to job site.
Must check in with client unless otherwise directed.
Must plan the best method of installation for entire sign packages.
Take completion photos of performed tasks.
General help with loading/unloading signage, trailers, materials when required.
Must maintain work log; hours worked, travel time, material used
Salary:
Base pay starting $30/hr
Full time position, 40 hours per week
W-2
1 week paid vacation
Paid Holidays

Employee Schedule:
Employee work hours: Monday - Thursday 7 am - 6 pm
Friday - Overtime if required, paid time and a half
Out of town installations - SouthLand Signs services and installs signs all over the State of Texas. Room/Boarding and meals will be paid by company. Installer will be given ample time to coordinate overnight stays out of town. Out of town trips normally last between 1-3 days.
This position is for a seasoned, experienced, and competent Lead Installer who can work under minimal supervision and solve unexpected issues that may arise upon project installations.
