This company is a metal pipe manufacturer based in Houston, Texas and has been in business for over 50 years! The company specializes in manufacturing induction pipe bends, butt-weld fittings, and other metal piping parts.
Type: Temp to Hire
Location: Near I-10 East & Beltway 8 near Sheldon Rd Houston, Tx 77015
Schedule: Monday through Saturday (6 am - 3 pm)
Opportunity for overtime
Pay: $16/hr.
Responsibilities:
Set up various production equipment including press brakes, drawbench machines, rounding machines, etc.
Operate machines/equipment to form, cut, weld, and grind pipe.
Lift pieces of pipe using the overhead crane.
Move products with the sit-down forklift.
Band and strap finished piping material.
Qualifications:
Must be self-sufficient, reliable, and punctual.
Literate to work with Microsoft Office.
Able to read/write, and communicate in English.
Previous experience in manufacturing, pipe bending, metalwork, etc.
Familiarity with industrial metal manufacturing machines and equipment.
Ability to handle physical workload.
Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
