Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator experienced with Aisle Master or similar narrow aisle forklifts. The ideal candidate will efficiently handle materials within our warehouse, ensure workspace cleanliness, and adhere to all safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Material Handling: Operate Aisle Master forklifts to transport materials, including loading/unloading trucks and relocating items within the warehouse.
Inventory Management: Accurately place and organize products, perform routine inventory counts, and report discrepancies.
Equipment Maintenance: Conduct daily forklift inspections, report mechanical issues, and perform minor maintenance.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines, ensure loads are properly secured, and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment.
Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of material movements and coordinate with warehouse staff for smooth workflow.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years operating Aisle Master or similar narrow aisle forklifts.
Certification: Valid forklift operator certification.
Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
Work Environment: Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Schedule and Compensation:
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Wage: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
