Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, Expected hours: 50 per week
Your initial work hours will be Monday – Friday 6:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Responsibilities:
Repair trucks, trailers, and other motor vehicles
Ability to assess safety and mechanical issues, then provide solutions or refer them to other team members
Perform routine vehicle maintenance
Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer
Flexibility to perform different tasks from engine work to shop clean up
Ability to embrace the challenge of balancing preventive maintenance with addressing equipment failures
Your initial work hours will be Monday – Friday 6:30 AM - 5:30 PM
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience as a diesel mechanic
Knowledge of shop equipment
Basic stick welding skills
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Must be a person with integrity who brings a positive attitude to the office every day.
You maintain composure and safety focus while troubleshooting and solving issues.
You can work unsupervised when delivering potential solutions.
