CNC MILL Machinist

Responsibilities:
Read detailed drawings and blueprints to determine required machining operations.
Set up and operate a variety of computer numeric control (CNC) machine tools including vertical milling machines, horizontal milling machines, and computerized lathes. Control brands: Fanuc, Daewoo & Hyundai.
Maintain accurate records of materials cut and used on CNC machines.
Maintain safe working conditions in the workplace.
Qualifications and Education
High School diploma or equivalent required.
At least 3 years of verifiable CNC Machinist experience – references will be checked before hire.
Preferred Skills:
Understand process sheets and basic blueprint reading.
Must have standard measuring equipment skills.
Effective verbal communication skills
Independent thinking and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail.
Time management and self sufficiency
Ability to work 10 & 12 hours shift on as needed basis
Additional Notes:
Moderate physical activity - standing, reaching, bending, stretching, and walking.
Requires manual handling of objects up to 65 pounds.
Climate controlled work environment.
Job Type:
Full-time Monday – Friday (6AM – 2PM with as needed work schedule to 4PM & 6PM)
