Northwest Manufacturing company is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Laser Table Operator to join the manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC laser cutting machines to produce parts and products according to specifications. This role requires precision, technical expertise, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Candidates must be dependable, have a great attitude and must be available to start ASAP.
Key Responsibilities
● Machine Operation: Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines to cut, shape, and engrave metal, and other materials according to production specifications.
● Programming: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files to program the CNC laser table for accurate cutting.
● Quality Control: Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, ensuring they meet company and client specifications.
● Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on CNC laser equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical issues that arise.
● Material Handling: Load and unload materials onto the CNC laser table, ensuring proper alignment and secure positioning. ● Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
● Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including machine settings, maintenance logs, and inspection reports.
● Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
Qualifications
● High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training or certification in CNC machining or a related field is preferred.
●Proven experience as a CNC Laser Table Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
● Proficiency in operating CNC laser cutting machines and understanding of G-code programming. Familiarity with CAD/CAM software.
● Strong mechanical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
● High attention to detail and precision in cutting and measuring materials.
● Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 100 pounds and stand for extended periods.
● Good communication skills with the ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with team members.

Salary: $17.00 hours - 18.00 hours
