Houston Sign Maker is looking for an experienced graphic designer to add to our growing team!
Must have experience in the signage industry. Must have knowledge about types of materials, creating signage artwork, permit packages, creating and setting up files for print, plotter, CNC and fabrication drawings.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
Knowledge of sign fabrication.
Knowledge of print industry and color management.
Imposing sign art on properly scaled photos.
Logo creation, aesthetic design and type setting.
Knowledge of vinyls, laminates, substrates, fabrication materials and paint colors.
Detail oriented mindset.
Job Description:
-Graphic designer will create artwork and mockups for client approval.
-Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Self-sufficiency.
-Create permit drawings for permit submissions (storefronts, dimensions, fabrication and installation methods adhering to engineer stamped drawings and weld plans)
-Inventory of substrates, vinyl materials, inks and all aspects relating to printing, plotting and CNC.
-Planning ahead for upcoming projects and installations.
Pay starting at $20-$25/hr based on experience and skill set.
