California law office seeking a P/T remote legal paralegal to contact and interview clients to prepare and type discovery responses in civil lawsuits, Need you to be fluent in Spanish and English and communicate with clients by using our email address which we will provide you. You will need you to use your cell phone, but of course you will be expected to block your cell phone number. You will be provided with a land-line extension on our office phone as well that will be reserved for you to receive voice mails from our office and clients.
Work is PT because we don't have 40 hours per week, but work is constant. Our last person in this position stayed on with us for about seven years and decided to move on to something else. She lived in Florida.
We are prepared to start you off at $12.00 per, and if you can handle the work, we will move you up to $!5.00 in about 90 days.
What is important is understanding the discovery questions and getting information that matches the questions. We proof-read all work before it goes out. In California we have form interrogatories, document production requests and requests for admission and special interrogatories. All responses need to be typed into WORD.
Please send us a resume showing your work history. We are more interested in your ability to read questions and geting correct answers from clients more than we are in extensive paralegal history. Being a paralegal is a help, but being fluent and Spanish speaking is a must. And do not be afraid of looking at this work if you have not worked in a law office before. Thanks
