Immigration Lawyer, Associate

Long established Immigration Law Firm is looking for an immigration associate attorney. The position is available for immediate hire and brings about a great opportunity to learn and practice immigration law before USCIS, Immigration Courts, Family Courts, Federal Courts and courts of appeals. The candidate will prepare and attend an interview at the USCIS, represent in cases of Court, Detainees, Parole, Bond and Family Court cases and perform legal research and writings as needed. The candidate should have great drafting skills, client communications management skills, work independently and interact with government officials to move cases forward. Will perform legal research as needed. Attorneys with prior experience a plus. Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus. The ideal candidate must be culturally competent to deal with clients from diverse international backgrounds, nationalities, races, religions and sexual orientation; will also have excellent written communication skills, be analytic, hard worker, a multi-tasker, have good interpersonal skills, ability to set priorities, manage time effectively and being congenial with others. Admission to any US state or territory required, Texas Bar a plus. Knowledge required: Proficiency with Word and Outlook. Please provide resume, references and short writing sample.
