Job Summary
Job Description: Our firm is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Assistant to support our attorneys in day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, bilingual in English and Spanish, and comfortable handling a variety of administrative and legal support tasks. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple deadlines, and professionalism in client-facing interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
-Schedule and coordinate mediations, depositions, court hearings, and client meetings
-Communicate fluently in Spanish with clients, witnesses, and outside parties as needed
-Prepare, review, and file legal documents through e-filing systems
-Manage and process medical and billing affidavits for personal injury and related matters
-Serve as a firm liaison between attorneys, clients, medical providers, and opposing counsel
-Draft routine correspondence, letters, and notices for attorney review
-Maintain organized case files, calendars, and task lists to ensure deadlines are met
-Provide general administrative support to attorneys and staff
Qualifications:
-Prior legal assistant or paralegal experience preferred
-Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
-Strong knowledge of state and federal e-filing procedures
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal practice management software
-Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment
-High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
