Wheel Repair Garage Manager
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
Background knowledge in wheel repair (such as bend, cracks, curb rash and corrosion), wheel customization such as powder coating wheels, painting calipers, conducting blackout packages, vehicle body work and paint jobs to manage our garage. Effective time management, Detailed oriented, Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), basic computer skills, great Customer Service, Well-organized, Committed, Dependable, Strong Work Ethic Required. The successful candidate will need to be mechanically inclined and be a fast learner with great people skills. Candidate must be punctual, clean cut, bi-lingual (preferred). Any tire shop, body shop, or welding experience is helpful. An interest in cars is a MUST

Responsibilities:
Repair scratches, scuffs and dents, on alloy wheels of all make model and styles
Ability to Powder-coat all variation of rims as well as assist other staff in the preparation process (including both paint and powder-coat)
Ability to properly jack up a vehicle, remove and install rim & tire from the vehicle
Clean and maintaining shop, mobile reconditioning truck and equipment
Applying patented straightening techniques to bent wheels
Inspect and quote wheels to be repaired
Paint surfaces of wheels using spray-painting equipment, power tools and work aids utilizing specific surface preparation and painting techniques.
Mix paint to specified color using standard formulas or color charts
Refurbish alloy wheels, by aqua blasting, sand blasting, chemical paint stripping, labelling and alloy identification
To have the ability to work to a high standard within agreed workshop timeframes
Experience in TIG/MIG welding
Experience with Hunter & Coats Tire Machines
Experience jacking up vehicles properly
Working with other staff to prep wheels for repair (powder, paint, etc.)
Removal and installation of tire/wheel assemblies
Cleaning and maintaining shop, mobile reconditioning truck and equipment
Applying patented straightening techniques to bent wheels
Inspect and quote wheels to be repaired
Paint surfaces of wheels using spray-painting equipment, power tools and work aids utilizing specific surface preparation and painting techniques
Mix paint to specified color using standard formulas or color charts
Must be able to lift up to 30 inch wheels
Working with other staff to prep wheels for repair (powder, paint, etc.)
Removal and installation of tire/wheel assemblies
Cleaning and maintaining shop, mobile reconditioning truck and equipment
Applying patented straightening techniques to bent wheels
Inspect and quote wheels as needed
Salary and Hours
Negotiable depending on experience
Working hours to be discussed at interview stage
Expected hours: 50 per week
Schedule:
10 hour shift
Day shift
Monday to Saturday
Experience:
Automotive repair: 1 year (Preferred)
Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
Willing to assist with relocation to Houston if qualified.
