Warehouse position needed immediately for Vertical Cable Houston Texas Warehouse.
Minimum 1-2 year experience in shipping / receiving and warehousing, forklift operator, preparing import/export shipping documents & freight inspections.
Job Duties: Responsible for performing a variety of warehouse-related duties such as, shipping, receiving and storage of goods, preparing orders for shipment by picking items from shelves/racks/pallets and ensuring that orders are filled accurately and efficiently.
Must be able to utilize the functions of the warehouse shipping system in order to perform daily tasks.
Primary duties include, offloading trucks & containers, pulling orders, shipping, counting and verifying product against receiving documents.
Ability to read and understand the English language for the purpose of comparing and reading product descriptions,
names and shelf labels.
Strong organizational skills & detail oriented.
Ability to operate power equipment such as electric pallet jack & forklift
Must be a team player and demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills Maintain appropriate
attendance standards
Ability to lift boxes up to 50 pounds periodically
