Requirements + Background
Industrial experience – Min. 3 years required.
Spanish – Bi-lingual FLUENCY. Will be tested.
OSHA Basic Plus or higher. TWIC card preferred.
Must pass background test we will run, (no felony or DUI per client). Must pass client site specific safety test vis HASC.
Available to travel 80% +, year-round (Position requires travel to throughout the US – paid for).
Must have a valid driver license, dependable vehicle and cell phone
Knowledge of hand tools and power tools. Cannot be afraid of heights, (+- 15 ft Max).
Ability to operate some heavy equipment (forklift, trailer maneuvering)
Must pass physical and be able to work in all Houston summer heat and winter.
Effective communication skills and a team player.
Responsibilities
SAFETY is # 1 priority. Hard worker, decommissioning substation transformers. Other equip too.
Work alongside our skilled labor crew on projects, nationwide.
Next Project near Columbus, TX. 1 month duration. Then Houston, OH, UT, other.
Job scope
SAFE disassembly of large substation transformers & industrial electrical equipment & load out of all parts.
Typical off-site project is 2-6 consecutive weeks and 40 + hours per week. In between smaller projects, we have part-time work available at our Houston-based warehouse. (near NRG Stadium)
Salary / Advancement: $22.00/ hr. DOE. + Bonus, up to 20% = up to $26.50/ hr. All travel, meals, hotel paid for.
ALL travel expenses paid, including hotel
Meal per diem paid weekly.
Bonuses. Up to 20% of base salary, weekly.
If candidate passes 3-month provisional 1099 employment, we may offer a full-time position as a W-2 employee, with benefits.
