Duties:
Assembling parts and components using hand tools and equipment
Reading and interpreting assembly instructions.
Ensuring the availability of necessary parts and supplies before assembly.
Identifying materials with defects.
Using templates to assemble products correctly.
Conducting quality control checks.
Maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
Qualifications:
Able to carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
Knowledge of basic handheld and power tools.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The general public come to the company to sell and discard any metal material they no longer wish to keep. The company takes the incoming material and recycles it based on the type of metal it is. As a forklift operator, you will:
Move metal materials with the forklift throughout the yard to get them to their proper destination.
Separate materials based on the type of metal to assure they will be processed accordingly.
Note: This position is mainly entails manual labor with occasional utilization of the sit-down forklift.
Operate the skid steer to perform tasks such as digging ditches, moving dirt or rocks, lifting heavy objects, etc.
Maneuver the skid steer through tight spaces while maintaining control of the machine
Operate various attachments on the skid steer to complete a wide range of tasks effectively
Inspecting and testing the skid steer for any defects or malfunctions
Conduct repairs and maintenance on the skid steer and its components
Follow safety rules and regulations and using protective equipment and tools.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience operating the sit-down forklift and skid steer.
Must be able to pass a background check, and drug test.
Able to constantly lift 25-60 lbs.
Able to work in inclement weather.
