Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Washrack Technician to join our operations team. In this essential role, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining a wide variety of transport equipment and wash rack structures, ensuring all equipment meets safety and cleanliness standards. This is a hands-on, full-time position that plays a key part in supporting our facility’s day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform thorough cleaning of transport equipment, including external and internal surfaces
Clean and maintain wash rack structures, ensuring functionality and safety
Sanitize vats, tanks, and other equipment as required by operational standards
Operate cleaning equipment and tools such as high-pressure washers, hoses, and industrial cleaning agents
Conduct routine inspections of equipment before and after cleaning for damage or required maintenance
Follow safety protocols and wear proper PPE at all times while working in cleaning and wash rack areas
Report any maintenance needs, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to environmental and safety regulations
Assist with other general labor or facility tasks as assigned by supervisors
The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and general upkeep of the company's buildings, grounds, and related infrastructure, including those areas associated with tank manufacturing, assembly, and testing. This role ensures that all facility systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural) are functioning efficiently and safely to support ongoing operations and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on facility systems (e.g., HVAC, electrical panels, lighting, plumbing).
Maintain and repair structural components of the building, including walls, floors, doors, and roofs.
Monitor and maintain operational readiness of specialized tank production and testing areas (e.g., pressure testing bays, paint booths, welding stations).
Troubleshoot and repair facility-related issues, including equipment malfunctions and utility disruptions.
Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors for specialized repair work (e.g., crane servicing, HVAC upgrades, electrical work).
Ensure that all facility operations comply with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable safety and environmental regulations.
Maintain records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
Respond to emergency maintenance issues quickly and efficiently.
Support the installation or relocation of equipment and machinery related to tank manufacturing.
Assist in implementing energy-saving and sustainability initiatives across the facility.
