Mechanical Shop Helper – Hydraulic Cylinder Repair
-Compensation: $17/hour
-Location: Northwest Houston (Louetta/Willowbrook area, ZIP 77070)
-Schedule: Flexible weekly schedule, 3–4 days per week (8 AM – 4 PM), occasional Saturdays if needed

Role Overview
This is a part-time role where you’ll assist with daily shop tasks. The ideal candidate is handy, experienced with hand and power tools, and has a mechanical mindset for disassembly and understanding of basic mechanical or hydraulic concepts. Candidates must live within 30 minutes of ZIP code 77070.
Key Responsibilities
-Assist with disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly of hydraulic cylinders.
-Help load and unload equipment and parts from service trucks.
-Support fleet maintenance and cleaning.
-Assist with shop organization, cleaning, and preparing parts for repair or paint.
-Safely use hand and power tools for mechanical tasks
-Assist with occasional administrative tasks such as parts pick-ups and deliveries
-Lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for most of the day
-Follow safety procedures and support overall shop operations
-Assist with small maintenance tasks at the office/shop
Qualifications
-Experience using hand and power tools (required)
-Mechanical aptitude and ability to understand mechanical/hydraulic concepts
-Previous shop or mechanical experience preferred
-Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
-Must live within 30 minutes of ZIP code 77070
-Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
-Comfortable with running and passing background checks
