JOB TITLE: Supply Chain Expeditor

POSITION SUMMARY: The Supply Chain Expeditor is responsible for assisting the SC team with ensuring goods and services across multiple categories are received and processed on time and accurately in order to ensure consistent supply that will allow manufacturing and operations to run on time.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Purchase services and components to meet specialized or complex needs.
Track and report on status of purchase orders.
Collaborate with vendors to expedite purchases.
Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.
Prepare purchase orders, following proper channels and procedures to obtain approvals for purchases.
Assist Supply Chain and other internal stakeholders to process purchase requisitions. Verify receipt of items and resolve all error shipments with vendors/suppliers. Collaborate with 3rd party shipping and freight suppliers to expedite deliveries. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following standards and procedures and comply with legal regulations.
Wear and maintain personal protective equipment as required by work location. Perform other functions and responsibilities as required.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
High School or GED required.
Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain related field required. Experience with ERP system preferred. D365 is an asset.
Experience in dealing with requirements and specifications for metal and non-metal materials is considered an asset.
Ability to read, write, and speak English language fluently is preferred.
Ability to perform intermediate computer skills, including MS Word and Excel, is required.
Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and timelines in a fast-paced environment required.
Ability to liaise professionally with team members and vendors required.
Ability to perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision required.

JOB TITLE: CNC Set Up Machinist
Mobile Temporary Services is assisting an industrial manufacturer to hire CNC Machine Operators.
LOCATION: Northwest Houston 249 & Greens Road Houston, Tx 77066
PAY: $20-$26/hr.
SCHEDULE:
Night Shift: 5 pm to 5 am
Monday to Thursday
POSITION SUMMARY: The Setup Machinist Level 2 is responsible for ensuring that the team of Setup Machinists accurately and efficiently sets up the CNC machine workstations to run parts as dictated by the production schedule.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES: The Setup Machinist Level 2 is accountable for the following functions and responsibilities:
Run basic programs.
Report on correct production quantity as needed.
Utilize basic part inspection equipment.
Accurately place part identification on finished goods.
Detect and report machine malfunctions.
Detect and identify out-of-tolerance production.
Execute required tool offsets in tool list to maintain required tolerance.
Identify abnormal operating conditions and notify maintenance.
Record downtime in electronic system.
Maintain weekly NCR levels and rejection rate below 3% of work order.
Maintain a scrap rate below 4%.
Conduct required preventive maintenance (PM's) at assigned station.
Consistently achieve daily production target of 90%.
Utilization of optical comparator.
Removal of CNC waste.
Basic understanding of G&M code.
Manually "prep" oversized blanks without assistance.
Troubleshoot machine, i.e., clear alarms, clogged coolant lines, adjust jaws.
Produce parts that require mid-range degree of accuracy.
Basic on machine program corrections.
Produce all parts within company library.
Train new operators.
Operate all machines on production shop floor.
Perform basic setups when needed.
Machine complex metal parts.
Understanding of all measuring equipment used on production floor.
Intermediate understanding of prints and inspection techniques.
Advanced tool knowledge.
Assist machine operators as needed to minimize downtime.
Ensure machines are following production schedule.
Execute setups and changeovers in a timely manner.
Set up all basic lathe and mill composite and steel work.
Set up all robot and beta stations.
Set up all advanced composite and steel work.
Perform 100% first article on complex components if no QC inspector is available. Troubleshoot machine downs issues without maintenance assistance and perform simple maintenance repairs.
Calculation of dimensional callouts - advanced math.
Identify potential process improvements on existing and new product.
Perform other functions and responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: The Setup Machinist Level 2 must at a minimum possess the following:
High school diploma or GED is required. Advanced degree or certificate is preferred. Two to five plus years of lathe and mill experience. A diverse background in running different types of machines is preferred.
Intermediate-to-advanced knowledge of general shop mathematics and able to apply the knowledge into practical application.
Advanced mechanical aptitude skills.
Ability to work in a team-oriented, high-pressured, and fast-paced environment.
Ability to speak, read, and write the English language fluently, is preferred.
Basic computer literacy skills.
Must be self-motivated and be able to work with minimal supervision while providing leadership to coworkers.
Strong time management skills with the ability to effectively operate multiple machines at one time.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The Setup Machinist Level 2 must be able to:
Operate basic office machines, such as a computer, copy machine, fax, scanner, etc.
Lift a minimum of 50lbs, repeatedly, without assistance and up to 100lbs with assistance.
Push/pull heavy objects with the proper equipment.
Wear the appropriate PPE when required (i.e., safety glasses or side shields, steel-toe footwear, etc.).
Stand for long periods of time; up to 8-12 hours a day.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conducting regular quality checks on fracking plug products to ensure they meet established standards and specifications.
Analyzing and interpreting data to identify areas for improvement.
Communicating findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
Working with production teams to implement quality control processes and procedures.
Maintaining accurate records and documentation of quality control activities.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues.
Operate a shaker/tumbler machine to deburr composite parts prior to Quality Control inspection.
Operate material handling equipment, such as hand trucks, forklift trucks, low lift trucks, hoists, and other equipment as required.
Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to applicable procedures.
Stage work for the Quality Control Department.
Staying current with industry developments and incorporating new techniques and technologies into quality control processes.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field (e.g., engineering, quality assurance) is preferred.

6. Send shipping documents and pictures to customers.

Purchasing:
1. Attend to customers on the purchasing side of material.
2. Enter prices for feeder yards.
3. Check supplier / transfer tickets for weight and material discrepancies.
4. Work with warehouse on incoming loads.
5. Create yearly/monthly reports for suppliers when requested.
6. Create settlements and adjustments when needed.
7. Print checks
8. File all supplier tickets by company name and in alphabetical order.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set up various production equipment including press brake machines, drawbench machines, rounding machines, etc.
Operate machines/equipment to form and cut metal pipe.
Utilize handheld tools like a grinder.
Lift pieces of pipe using the overhead crane.
Move products with the sit-down forklift.
Band and strap finished piping material.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Must be able to present a resume with relevant experience.
Literate to work with Microsoft Office.
Previous experience in manufacturing, pipe bending, metalwork, etc.
Able to operate the sit-down forklift.
Familiarity with industrial metal manufacturing machines and equipment such as measuring tape, calipers, handheld grinders, etc.
