JOB TITLE: Preventative Maintenance Technician

A heat treat company is looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician. The person will perform work to keep machines, mechanical and electrical equipment, or the facility's structure and repair. Orders and maintains spare parts inventory.

Pay: $25/hr.

Location: (Northeast Houston) Zip Code 77022

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm

Duties:

Inspect, operate and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunction.

Dismantle machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, forklifts, hand tools, or power tools.

Performs routine maintenance such as inspecting drives, motors, furnaces, or rams, checking fluid levels, lubricate machinery, replacing filters, or doing other preventative maintenance work.

Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.

Repair machines, equipment, or structures, by welding, or using tools such as wrenches, hammers, hoists, saws, drills, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical/electronic testing devices.

Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical/electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.

Orders parts, supplies, or equipment as needed and maintains spare part inventory.

Record production repair and maintenance machine information.

Performs routine maintenance on boilers, burners, air compressors, and other equipment.

Apply lockout tag out procedures when + where required per OSHA.

Requirements:

Able to read, comprehend and adhere to the company's Process Management System requirements and provide improvement recommendations as needed.

Able to lift to 75 lbs. and work in various positions, such as standing, bending, kneeling, etc.

Must have previous work-related skills, knowledge, or experience.

JOB TITLE: Quality Control Inspector

LOCATION: Near 249 & Beltway 8 Houston, Texas 77064

SCHEDULE:

Night Shift: 6 pm to 5 am

Monday to Thursday

PAY: $20/hr. - $26/hr.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The QC – Material Handler is responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to the Production Schedule. The incumbent is accountable for the following functions and responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

The QC Material Handler is accountable for the following functions and responsibilities:

Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to

applicable procedures.

Operate a shaker/tumbler machine to deburr composite parts prior to

Quality Control inspection.

Operate material handling equipment, such as hand trucks, forklift trucks,

low lift trucks, hoists, and other equipment as required.

Stage work for the Quality Control Department.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

The QC Material Handler must at a minimum possess the following:

High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.

Previous experience (1+ years) as a material handler in a manufacturing setting is preferred.

Completion of Forklift Training Course.

Ability to read, write, and speak the English language fluently.

Ability to perform basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and timelines in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Northwest Houston 249 & Greens Road Houston, Tx 77066

PAY: $22-$25 per hour

SCHEDULE: Day Shift: 6 am to 5 pm, Tuesday - Friday

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Utilize computer to produce barcodes set to specific product.

Assemble complex frac equipment & products.

Read, interpret, and follow:

Blueprints

Diagrams

Engineering drawings

Specifications

Bills of materials

Perform quality checks.

Identify product defects & complete appropriate documentation.

Rework and/or repair assembled equipment & products according to engineering specification changes.

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidate has been exposed to moving mechanical parts regularly.

Approximately 4-10 years experience with assembling mechanical parts.

Knowledge in: Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Assembly

Able to carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted.

JOB TITLE: CNC Machinist

Mobile Temporary Services is assisting an industrial manufacturer to hire CNC Machinists.

Location: Northwest Houston 249 & Greens Road Houston, Tx 77066

Pay: $16-18/hr. + DOE

Schedules:

Day Shift: 5 am to 4 pm

Monday to Thursday

Night Shift: 6 pm to 5 am

Monday to Thursday

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Machine Operator is responsible for accurately and timely manufacturing machined components used in the assembly of final products.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Run basic programs.

Report on correct production quantity as needed.

Utilize basic part inspection equipment.

Accurately place part identification on finished goods.

Detect and report machine malfunctions.

Detect and identify out-of-tolerance production.

Execute required tool offsets in tool list to maintain required tolerance.

Identify abnormal operating conditions and notify maintenance.

Record downtime in electronic system.

Maintain weekly NCR levels and rejection rate below 3% of work order.

Maintain a scrap rate below 4%

Conduct required preventive maintenance (PM's) at assigned station.

Consistently achieve daily production target of 90%.

Utilization of optical comparator.

Removal of CNC waste.

Basic understanding of G&M code.

Manually "prep" oversized blanks without assistance.

Troubleshoot machine, i.e., clear alarms, clogged coolant lines, adjust jaws.

Produce parts that require mid-range degree of accuracy.

Basic on machine program corrections.

Produce all parts within company library.

Train new operators.

Operate all machines on production shop floor.

Perform basic setups when needed.

Machine complex metal parts.

Understanding of all measuring equipment used on production floor.

Intermediate understanding of prints and inspection techniques.

Advanced tool knowledge.

Assist machine operators as needed to minimize downtime.

Ensure machines are following production schedule.

Execute setups and changeovers in a timely manner.

Set up all basic lathe and mill composite and steel work.

Set up all robot and beta stations.

Set up all advanced composite and steel work.

Perform 100% first article on complex components if no QC inspector is available.

Troubleshoot machine downs issues without maintenance assistance and perform simple maintenance repairs.

Calculation of dimensional callouts - advanced math.

Identify potential process improvements on existing and new product.

Perform other functions and responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

High school diploma or GED is required. Advanced degree or certificate is preferred.

Two to five plus years of lathe and mill experience. A diverse background in running different types of machines is

preferred.

Intermediate-to-advanced knowledge of general shop mathematics and able to apply the knowledge into practical

application.

Advanced mechanical aptitude skills.

Ability to work in a team-oriented, high-pressured, and fast-paced environment.

Ability to speak, read, and write the English language fluently, is preferred.

Basic computer literacy skills.

Must be self-motivated and be able to work with minimal supervision while providing leadership to coworkers.

Strong time management skills with the ability to effectively operate multiple machines at one time.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The Setup Machinist Level 2 must be able to:

Operate basic office machines, such as a computer, copy machine, fax, scanner, etc.

Lift a minimum of 50lbs, repeatedly, without assistance and up to 100lbs with assistance.

Push/pull heavy objects with the proper equipment.

Wear the appropriate PPE when required (i.e., safety glasses or side shields, steel-toe footwear, etc.).

Stand for long periods of time; up to 8-12 hours a day.
