Job Summary: We seek a seasoned Landscape Foreman to manage and execute landscape construction projects. This role is pivotal in leading a team to achieve high-quality results, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, within budget, and to our exacting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of landscape workers on diverse construction projects, ensuring high levels of efficiency and workmanship.
Manage the installation of hardscapes including pavers, concrete walkways, retaining walls, edging, and drainage systems.
Operate and oversee the maintenance of construction equipment such as skid steers, trenchers, and compactors.
Handle ordering, delivery, and management of materials and inventory on project sites.
Enforce strict compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Perform quality control checks to uphold high standards of construction and finish.
Facilitate effective communication among clients, team members, and management to ensure coordinated efforts and clear reporting of progress and timelines.
Address and resolve challenges that emerge during construction, applying problem-solving skills to mitigate delays or quality issues.
Provide training and mentorship to team members, enhancing their skills and fostering professional growth.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years experience in landscape construction, with a proven track record of leading landscaping teams.
Expert knowledge of modern landscaping techniques, including detailed hardscape installations and advanced grading and drainage solutions.
Proficient in the use of heavy landscaping equipment and tools.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and working under various weather conditions.
Possession of a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desirable.
