Our company is currently seeking a GPS Dozer Operator in Magnolia and surrounding areas. A GPS Dozer Operator uses advanced GPS technology to guide a bulldozer for precise earthmoving, grading, and excavation tasks on construction and land development sites. This role requires a high degree of precision to ensure the project meets exact design specifications. Applicants must be reliable and self driven, with strong work ethic. Hourly rate is negotiable based on experience.
REQUIREMENTS:
Proven Experience as a Dozer Operator (required)
Proficiency in using GPS machine control systems (not required, but must be willing to learn)
Must be able to sit for extended periods, as well as stand, walk, climb, and lift up to 100lbs (required)
Must pass a background check and drug screening (required)
Must own reliable transportation (required)
Valid Driver's License (required)
Work Authorization (required)
Applicants must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions (required)
JOB DUTIES:
1. Operation of John Deere Dozer using Topcon GPS System.
2. Performance of various earthmoving tasks, including excavating, spreading, and finish grading, by accurately interpreting site plans and controlling the GPS System.
3. Assemble, calibrate, and mounting of the GPS System.
4. Responsible for daily equipment checks and routine maintenance.
5. Coordinate effectively with foremen and other crew members to ensure project goals are met.
6. Adhere by all company and OSHA Safety procedures and protocols, including wearing proper PPE.
7. Be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions.
