Job Responsibilities:
- Operate forklift to safely load, unload, and transport fragile materials such as glass and mirrors within our warehouse.
- Safely maneuver and stack materials on racks and shelves, ensuring proper placement to prevent damage.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on forklifts and maintain equipment in good working condition.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through proper documentation and organization.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to fulfill orders efficiently and accurately.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding quality control and workplace safety.
Requirements:
- You must have experience as a forklift operator, in a warehouse setting handling fragile materials.
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
- Physical strength to lift and move heavy and fragile materials as far as unloading cases of glass in containers.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
